Lauren Alexander Teacup FaeriesCheri HiersThese fine art dolls are the one-of-a-kind fantasy sculptures of Cheri Hiers, whose creations have allowed faeries and human beings to spend real time together in our world since 1995.
Their hair might be mohair, lamb's wool or sometimes human hair. Their wings are butterfly wings imported from around the world. Each has inset eyes, applied eyelashes and a look that will speak louder than words. The faeries don't have names, but are referred to by the wings they wear. Because they are all one-of-a-kind, just like little people, each has its own personality. Each comes complete with a hang-tag that is signed and bears a unique title number for identification. This is what the artist has to say about faeries: Faeries are special little beings who truly love
nature and all it has to offer. They enjoy a world of complete bliss,
where happiness abounds and every day brings a new reason to rejoice.
Tradition has it that faeries can be seen only between one blink of
the eye and the next!
