Life-sized Newborn BabyCopyright ©2003 Kim Jelley This amazingly life-like baby girl features dark brown mohair baked into the scalp. Her tiny eyelashes were individually applied. She is wearing an enchanting christening gown, lovingly hand-crocheted by Kim's sister-in-law. Kim hand painted the skin ever so slightly to achieve life-like realism; even the cheeks, temples and eyelids have tiny veins and capillaries. The newborn has totally posable limbs and her head is attached to a soft, weighted body. This original fine art sculpture is hand-signed and dated by the artist.
